Christmas Morning. WOW....so It doesn't feel like Christmas...
at all! I got out of bed around 7:15 AM. My father comes in with his undying addiction to Starbucks trailing right behind him and has some how he has been so observant to realize they are open till 3PM on Christmas. So, I proceed to walk out of my room tell my mother Merry Christmas and then I'm off to the only Starbucks with a drive through, which so happens to be around 20 miles away. Gotta love addictions...After the trip to the wonderful land of overpriced coffee, I am back at home only to soon realize the sting from not receiving the iPhone I wanted hurts almost as much as my mother's sigh after she sees I have burned the Pillsbury Cinnamon Buns. You know the sweet savory treat that we have every year, along with the breakfast casseroles and pigs in a blanket with the never ending supply of mustard. Yes, It is true. I did not get what I wished for but the enlightening soundtrack to the movie "21" that just happened to be on t.v. today, the day of all days, reminded me...."You can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes, you get what you need." Ain't that the truth. Well, I will go on living my Verizon life with the sweetest free flip phone two year contracts can buy. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good "DAY!" I still have to make it through the mother's side of the family...God be with us. AMEN.
Actually its 13 miles away...just so happened you enjoyed your $4.50 coffee on this fine winters day. I am impressed with your undying love for the Iphone however I must be inclined to tell you they are way over hyped. Next time you find yourself in the blosophere tell the one about your Christmas eve story and everywhere your mother took you? Just know your loved beyond the limits of your brain! I love you
